Synopsis
Ming Wei is a passionate young woman who works part time while trying to break into acting. When she unexpectedly wins the lead role opposite award winning actor Mu Ting Zhou, she thinks her big break has finally arrived. They are cast in a historical drama where Ming Wei plays a gentle princess, and Ting Zhou is her loyal protector.
Everything changes when an accident on set causes Ting Zhou to lose his memory. In his confused state he believes Ming Wei is the princess from their drama and treats her with royal devotion. Ming Wei sees a chance to help him recover so she steps into his mistaken reality caring for him, supporting him and playing along with his fantasies.
At first it feels like a strange act but as moments of laughter, awkwardness and real care build up, something deeper begins to grow between them. Ming Wei finds herself seeing past Ting Zhou’s celebrity image and he in turn starts to reveal his genuine self beyond the camera lights. What began as a playful ruse slowly turns into real affection and both of them must decide what love really means once the truth returns.
