Synopsis
Cheng Yao is a bright and optimistic young woman who has always dreamed of becoming a successful lawyer. When she finally gets accepted to work at a top law firm, she moves into a place nearby so she can focus on her new career. On the first day she is surprised to find that her new roommate is none other than her boss Qian Heng the serious and demanding founder of the law firm.
At first Qian Heng thinks Cheng Yao only got the job through connections and treats her with tough challenges hoping she will quit. But Cheng Yao does not give up. She works hard, learns quickly and shows real determination even in difficult situations. Slowly Qian Heng begins to see her true potential and sincerity. As they spend time together both at work and at home their relationship shifts from misunderstanding and annoyance to respect, friendship and eventually tender feelings. Through shared laughter, stressful cases and quiet moments Cheng Yao grows into a confident lawyer while Qian Heng discovers how much warmth and care she brings into his structured world.
